Allow the roar.
Goodness it’s a challenge, it really is!
The other night I did a focussing session with a colleague and do you know what my body told me?
As I was struggling a little and being supported through the sensation of my insides smouldering…my body asked me to breathe into it.
My cognitive response to that was ‘yes that will cool it down, that will feel better’ and then it hit me. From that place that wisdom comes from when we listen for it.
Flames get bigger when we breathe on them. As I breathed deeply the smouldering turned into raging flames and I felt my body relax into the feeling of those flames.
Because putting out flames is something I’m very very good at. Something in me is wanting me to keep learning how to allow them to roar ❤️
